Travel Rules DnD 5e - Free download as Word Doc (.doc /.docx), PDF File (.pdf), Text File (.txt) or read online for free. A system of governing overland travel in 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons.
Aug 31, 2017 According to the DMG, you are correct. 48 miles in 8 hours. I believe 8 hours is roughly the maximum a creature can travel in a day at normal speed, without the need to make CON check for exhaustion. As far as I know there is no specific rule about this check, it is up to the DM. Resting isn't counted into their daily maximum travel. So a day of travel would be 9 hours of flying plus 2 hours of rest in between for a total of 11 hours of travel covering a distance of 36mi. 3 hours travel + 1 hour rest + 3 hours travel + 1 hour rest + 3 hours travel. Just want to know if I'm getting this right thus far. How do you come up with reasonable prices for travel costs in the D&D world? Does the DMG or the PBH or any other edition of D&D ever specify anything? Suppose a player wanted to rent out a horse for a day, or go on a wagon ride, or be transported by stage coach. What would you say a reasonable price for those would be?

What doesn’t exist (strangely) is the rule that you can enter the Deep Ethereal from the Border Ethereal. Travel in the Ethereal Plane, particularly extended travel, comes with its own set of substantial complications, obstacles, and dangers;.
